Using 1GO Plus on Android
1GO Plus is built with Android players in mind. Most people in India who play 1GO Plus do it on an Android phone, and the official APK gives them the full casino — lobby, rupee cashier, gift codes and live chat — in one light app. The Android-specific parts are which phones work, what the install permission means and how updates behave.
Which phones run 1GO Plus
Any phone or tablet on Android 7.0 or later can install 1GO Plus. The app needs about 100 MB of free storage and works best with 2 GB of RAM or more, especially in live dealer games. Because the games stream from 1GO Plus servers, the processor matters less than the connection: a steady Wi-Fi or 4G/5G signal gives smooth play even on budget phones from Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, Vivo or Oppo.
Android compatibility
1GO Plus streams its games, so most phones from the last few years run it without trouble.
| Platform | Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Android | System version | Android 7.0 or later |
| Android | Free storage | About 100 MB |
| Android | Memory | 2 GB RAM or more for live tables |
| Android | Screen | 480 × 800 pixels or higher |
| Android | Permission | Allow installs from your browser, once |
| Android | Internet | Wi-Fi or 4G/5G |
The install permission
Apps from outside the Play Store need one extra step. The first time you open 1go.apk, Android asks whether your browser is allowed to install apps. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, go back and tap Install. You only do this once per browser, and you can switch it off again afterwards without affecting 1GO Plus.
Play Protect and security warnings
Google Play Protect may show a notice before installing. That notice appears for every app installed outside the Play Store. If the file came from the official 1GO Plus download page, choose More details, then Install anyway. Leave Play Protect switched on — it keeps checking your phone for real threats. Files from mirrors and “mod” sites are a different story: they may be altered, and the APK page explains why they are best avoided.
Common Android issues
Play Protect shows a warning
This notice appears for apps installed outside the Play Store. Tap More details, then Install anyway when the file came from the 1GO Plus download page.
The Install button is greyed out
Go to Settings, Apps, Special access, then Install unknown apps, pick your browser and allow it, then open 1go.apk again.
“App not installed” after an update
Delete an older copy that came from another site, keep only the official app and install the new APK over it.
The phone runs out of space
Clear the browser cache and old downloads, then install again — the app needs about 100 MB.
Live games stutter
Switch to Wi-Fi or a stronger mobile signal and close other apps running in the background.
Updating the app
New versions are published on the same download page. Download the latest 1go.apk and install it over the existing app; Android keeps your login and settings. If the app starts closing after an update, clear its cache in Settings, then Apps, then 1GO Plus or reinstall — your balance and history live on your account, not on the phone. Step-by-step instructions are on the installation page.
Android or browser?
If your phone is short on space, Chrome on Android opens 1GO Plus just as well — nothing is installed and you sign in with the same account. The app is still the better choice for daily play thanks to faster start-up and notifications. The download page compares both, and the app page lists what the app adds.
